Thanksgiving week always brings back wonderful family memories, and thoughts of loved ones who no longer share our table. Grandma has been gone for over 22 years, but she is always alive in my heart and mind. One of my fondest memories of Grandma’s cooking is her Thanksgiving stuffing. The delicious flavor and aroma are something that will forever be remembered and adored by my siblings and me.

To this day we make Grandma’s stuffing recipe, but now we replace the “bread” ingredient with our own organic, ancient grain varieties. This year we’re using Organic Einkorn Sourdough. I miss Grandma terribly, but take comfort in knowing she would be pleased that we continue to carry on her culinary traditions.
