If you’ve been looking for our Organic White Sourdough lately, it’s been taking a short break. We’ve taken this popular loaf in a new direction by combining soft white winter wheat with our hard white spring wheat and adding a good touch of extra-virgin olive oil to round out the flavor profile. The new version has a subtle depth of flavor we’re really enjoying.
Unlike the more pronounced flavors of red wheat varieties, white wheat offers a gentler taste profile while still delivering wonderful complexity. Think of it as the milder sibling to our red wheat breads. As all our flours are 100% stone-milled, our Organic Sourdough White has a natural, warm appearance โ never that over-processed, snow white look you find in many breads.ย In our breads, more color means more flavor, texture, and nutrition.
