Here at Rising Bread, we believe in continuous improvement, and it’s a practice we work at every day. This week we’re changing up a few things in our menu to improve existing products and offer new items for lovers of authentic sourdough to try.
First, our Organic Stoneground has also undergone a little facelift. We are now fermenting the loaves in longer bannetons (proofing baskets), resulting in a loaf that’s a little longer. We’re very pleased with the results, and so are a few loyal customers that received preview samples of the new shape. We believe you’ll like it too, and rest assured it’s the same great flavor we all love!
New on the menu this week is our Organic Cinnamon Oatmeal. Think cinnamon “warm” instead of cinnamon “sweet” (no added sugar, of course!) Combined with a custardy oatmeal porridge, it makes for a tasty crumb with great texture. Great toasted with cream cheese, nut butters, or some salted butter, this is as great for breakfast as it is alongside a warm bowl of the cream soup of your choice.
We’ll also have our Organic Polenta Herb along with an assortment of our organic foundation sourdoughs loaves on the shelves of your local CO-OP that you are sure to enjoy – see the menu below for details. Whatever your preference, we deliver fresh to your local CO-OP on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Be sure to get some to share with your friends and family!
