OUR ORGANIC SOURDOUGH PIZZA CRUST

WE USE ORGANIC, STONEGROUND FLOUR

All our flour is organic, made from sustainably produced grains grown by organic Wisconsin farms. Our flour is stone milled from pesticide-free grain and grown in soil only fertilized by natural substances. Using stone milled flours preserves the rich flavor and nutritional value of the grain. Never bleached or bromated. Good, healthy and nutritious. Period.

NO YEAST. EVER.

Our pizza crusts are naturally leavened and long fermented. Our fermentation process takes time, typically two to three days to complete. Long fermentation develops a superior flavor profile and health benefits such as improving gut health and supporting better digestion.  We never have nor ever will  take shortcuts like adding yeast to hasten our process.

NO ADDED SUGAR. EVER.

We never have nor ever will add sugar to our naturally leavened pizza crusts. Everyone should be conscious of their sugar intake, and you can rest assured we add none. We keep our bread clean, resulting in a high quality, healthy product.

Few things satisfy like a hot-out-of-the-oven pizza. Imagine it now, hot out of a wood oven and served up right in front of you.  Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Just like our naturally leavened hearth breads, our par baked pizza crusts are handcrafted with our naturally leavened, long fermented sourdough, using certified organic, locally sourced, stone-ground flour. Always fresh, hand-stretched and stone oven baked.

A rustic, flavorful, chewy pizza crust is the cornerstone to any great pizza, and ours allow you to create great pizza in your own home. Bring our crusts home and allow them to help elevate your favorite toppings to pizza greatness!

No yeast, no added sugar, dairy-free, organic, vegan. Healthy, nutritious, delicious.

Choose your favorite toppings

What do you have a taste for ? Use anything you like. In this example, we’ll be using a red pizza sauce, artichoke hearts, mushrooms and grated mozzerella cheese.

Add some sauce

How much sauce ? Whether you prefer a red or white sauce, we’ve found that four tablespoons is sufficient but if you really prefer more sauce you can go up to six tablespoons. We also like to add a sprinkling of dried herbs and chili flakes for a little extra kick.

Add your toppings

Evenly distribute your selected toppings on top of the sauced pizza crust..

Add some cheese

Distribute the cheese evenly across the top of your crust. We find about six ounces does the trick. Put your pizza on a cookie sheet or pizza pan, and bake in a preheated 400F oven for about 14-16 minutes, to warm your ingredients through and melt the cheese to your liking.

After baking, allow your pizza to cool

To get a clean slice through that hot cheese (and to avoid burning your mouth!) let your pizza rest for a few minutes or so before you slice into it.

Serve it up and enjoy !

After your pizza has cooled a bit, slice into wedges and serve.
